Shown on the front is a pre-synaptic terminal. The module can generate impulses between 0 and 30 Hz (continuously variable) and may be used for stimulation of nerve cell modules. A receptor and a synaptic link are provided in addition which may be influenced by other modules (nervous or chemical presynaptic influences such as drugs).
